Conducting fundamental, applied, and developmental research in various temporal and spatial contexts, focusing on issues related to the transportation sector, including the planning, design, maintenance, safety, management, and optimization of transportation facilities and systems.
Research Center of Infrastructure Sustainability and Resilience
The Infrastructure Sustainability and Resilience Research Center has been established with the aim of bringing together interdisciplinary expertise to research and promote knowledge in the field of infrastructure sustainability and resilience.
Research Center of Earthquake Engineering
This center is equipped with a shaking table laboratory. With this table, you can simulate the earthquake and apply the earthquake forces to the desired model or to the components of the structures with real dimensions and examine their behavior.
Center of Parallel processing
This center was established in 2016 in the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Sharif University of Technology. This center makes complex numerical calculations possible for students. This center is located on the fourth floor of the Faculty of Civil Engineering building.

The services offered in this part of the faculty are all related to the computer systems that belong to the undergraduate, master's, doctoral students, faculty systems, and faculty employees. The website of the faculty includes about 50 computers, two printers and two scanners, which are related to the bachelor's and master's site, and their maintenance and operation are the duties of the site officials. Also maintaining servers and installing software that is needed by students, professors and faculty employees.
